CSPOA Police Chief Shawn Harger Arrested, Wrongly Charged — Let’s Help Him!
Oath Keepers Board member and Founder of Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association (CSPOA) Richard Mack is the former Sheriff of Graham County, Arizona. He is a very busy man as he travels the nation addressing Tea Party events and other traditional American cultural activities. Sheriff Mack, as we like to call him, is a man with a gentle and caring heart, a man who values justice and liberty for all free Americans.
Sheriff Mack is also a tiger when it comes to helping people inside law enforcement who have been wrongly targeted by corrupt local regimes. Sheriff Mack shares his passion for justice by standing up for an individual if he believes that individual is being rail-roaded or wrongfully prosecuted. Example:
Many of our members here at Oath Keepers will recall Sheriff Nick Finch of Liberty County, Florida, who was arrested by the State of Florida and put into his own County jail and was fired by the Governor of Florida. Sheriff Finch’s offense? He, as County Sheriff, dropped charges on a man who had been caught at a traffic stop with a concealed pistol in his pocket. The deputy who had stopped the man arrested him once he learned that the man had a concealed pistol without also possessing a concealed carry permit, and Sheriff Finch subsequently released the man from jail, saying that in his County, while he was Sheriff there, the Second Amendment was the only permit a citizen needed to carry a pistol in his pocket. That did not sit well with the establishment of Florida governance, for it challenged statute law, which as we all know is subservient to the highest law of the land, the U.S. Constitution.
Sheriff Mack took the ball and ran with it, and with the help of Oath Keepers’ membership much publicity about the case was generated in Florida and ultimately across America. Sheriff Mack’s CSPOA and Oath Keepers, with the support of our loyal membership base, achieved a grand victory as Sheriff Finch went to trial and was found “Not Guilty” by the Jury. Sheriff Finch was immediately reinstated as Sheriff of Liberty County, Florida – and I’ll tell you this from personal knowledge: Sheriff Finch and his wife and children are hugely grateful that Sheriff Mack’s CSPOA and Oath Keepers took up the challenging case and supported him all the way to victory.
Readers who chanced to miss that story can read a bit about it here:
Well, there is another rail-road job being thrust wrongfully against a former Police Chief, but this time it’s in New Mexico. Sheriff Mack has already fielded CSPOA resources onto the battleground as Chief Shane Harger, of Jemez Springs, New Mexico, is fighting serious charges against him. Chief Harger is a member in CSPOA.
Sheriff Mack and other law enforcement veterans have looked closely at the case being brought against Chief Harger and Sheriff Mack is certain that the charges are bogus. Further, Sheriff Mack is certain that Chief Harger will be found “Not Guilty”, just as he sensed that Sheriff Finch in Florida was innocent. The circumstances of Chief Harger’s arrest involve his pulling over a car in which were three men and a woman – and heroin. The woman has accused Chief Harger of rape and kidnapping. Sheriff Mack has reviewed the paperwork involved and feels certain this is an easy win for our side – but the costs are heavy and CSPOA is calling for help.
Sheriff Mack has committed CSPOA into the fight to clear Chief Harger in New Mexico. He is asking for Oath Keepers members and supporters to help Chief Harger and his wife, by donating to the defense fund. Please click this link and then click the donate button at the bottom of that page and do what you can to help CSPOA, Sheriff Mack, and Oath Keepers fight the good fight to save a man’s freedom from unjust charges.

I am going to help, and I encourage all readers here to help as best they can. Please click this link and then click the “Donate” button on that page. Sheriff Mack, CSPOA, Oath Keepers, and especially Chief Shane Harger and his wife will certainly be grateful for your support. As we did with Sheriff Finch’s case in Florida, let’s raise enough money (by each of us contributing a small amount personally) to keep the family fed and to offset legal expenses while we fight for justice for Chief Harger.
My sincere thanks to each of you,
