The Border Crisis in Del Rio Was Caused by Biden, Now There’s a Second Attack on DHS Agents

We reported earlier how Haitians who were on board a bus from Del Rio to Brownsville attacked the DHS staff who were guarding them and hijacked the bus. Some of the staff were injured and some of the illegal aliens temporarily escaped but were then rounded back up by local law enforcement.

But this is just one of the many problems that Biden’s border disaster has fostered.

First let’s start with the fact that again, the almost 15,000 Haitians living under a bridge at the border in squalor was a crisis of Biden’s own making.

From NY Post:

These are not people escaping an earthquake or political unrest or extreme poverty in Haiti, according to one of the most informed border observers, Todd Bensman, senior national security fellow at the Center for Immigration Studies and author of “America’s Covert Border War.”

All the Haitians he has interviewed have been living in Chile or Brazil for the past three to five years.

“I’ve never met one yet who is actually coming directly from Haiti,” he said. “But they will probably apply for asylum on the basis of [problems] in Haiti.”

Bensman has covered the border crisis for more than a year, traveling through Guatemala and Mexico to interview migrants.

The Haitians now in Del Rio were “living a pretty good life [in South America] but they are seeing an opportunity to improve their situation,” he says.

“They say they heard Joe Biden was opening the border up so they came.”

Most of the folks aren’t being deported, according to reports, but rather, secretly bused to other places all over the country to then be released. The reports were that single men were being deported, while family unit were getting to stay.

Of the 3,300 processed over the weekend from under the bridge, just 327 were sent out on flights to Haiti. So only about ten percent. So where did the other folks go? To centers to be processed elsewhere, to be released into the U.S.

But there were problems caused today on one of the flights back to Haiti.

DHS confirmed to Fox’s Bill Melugin that Haitian migrants who were on a deportation flight back to Haiti caused “two separate disruptions” on the tarmac in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, injuring three ICE officers who sustained non-life threatening injuries. Haitian crowd control police were involved in responding.

They don’t want to go back to Haiti because they haven’t been there in years and would be at a complete loss.

Although most are being released into this country, this threat of being possibly deported back to Haiti is now actually having a positive effect and causing some to decide to go back to South America rather than risk being deported to Haiti.

So Biden accidentally tripped across one of the things that made the Trump policies so effective — deterrence. That said, there are still a tremendous number of people just being released into the United States.

President Donald Trump is set to mark 200 miles (322 kilometers) of wall along the southwest border in Arizona on Tuesday, in an area where crews have built dozens of miles of new fencing amid a coronavirus breakout and protests from opponents who say construction is destroying important habitats.

Trump will be accompanied by Acting Secretary of Homeland Security Chad Wolf, who was in Yuma in January to celebrate the competition of 100 miles (161 kilometers). Wolf called the wall system an “undeniable impediment to smugglers, traffickers and other criminals who have exploited our lack of effective border infrastructure to smuggle drugs, illicit goods and engage in human trafficking.”

It’s unclear where exactly within the Yuma Sector, which is near the California-Arizona border, Trump will visit, and the Border Patrol declined to give specifics on Monday. But Yuma has been an important place in Trump’s promise to build a wall along the southern border. The president tweeted on Monday afternoon that he will celebrate the “212th plus mile of completion,” offering a different number than DHS officials gave in a news release earlier.

The agency says it has completed 61 miles (98 kilometers) of border wall and plans on building another 109 miles (175 kilometers) in that rugged area of mostly desert. Most of the new fencing that’s gone up is 30 feet (9 meters) high.

The Trump administration has promised to build 450 miles (724 kilometers) of border wall by the end of the year, aided by relaxed procurement laws that allow the government to award contracts to construction companies without much vetting. The government has awarded over $6.1 billion in construction contracts since April 2019, according to a tally by The Project On Government Oversight, a nonpartisan and independent watchdog.

Construction has continued despite a coronavirus outbreak that’s hit the Yuma area hard, and amid opposition from environmentalists and Native American tribes.

“Trump’s racist border wall has scarred our public lands, destroyed cultural sites for Indigenous people, and pushed wildlife closer to extinction,” said Brett Hartl, chief political strategist at the Center for Biological Diversity Action Fund. “With the country’s economy wrecked and coronavirus cases spiking in Arizona, his visit is a cheap political campaign stunt that only reveals how out of touch he is.”

The pandemic isn’t stopping plans for more border barriers anywhere.

In South Texas, where most border land is privately owned, the Justice Department has sued dozens of landowners to survey or seize their property for wall construction, including an orphanage operated by nuns in Laredo.

Crews have built several small sections but not yet come close to completing the wall through Laredo or the Rio Grande Valley, the southernmost point of Texas. Almost all of the U.S. land next to the Rio Grande, the river that separates Texas and Mexico, does not yet have a wall.

Even without a wall, border crossings have fallen drastically in the Rio Grande Valley since late last year due to a series of policy changes enacted by the Trump administration.

On the southern side of the Rio Grande, thousands of asylum-seekers live in shelters, churches, and a sprawling refugee camp waiting for their immigration court cases. Others have been expelled to their countries of origin without due process under an emergency border closure enacted in the coronavirus pandemic.

Following his border wall tour on Tuesday, Trump will head to Phoenix to speak at a Students for Trump convention at Dream City Church.

Trump’s last appearance in Yuma was in 2017 when he visited with U.S. Marines and Customs and Border Protection agents.

Associated Press reporter Nomaan Merchant in Houston contributed to this report.

Trump campaign refutes AOC boast that teens sabotaged president’s rally

AOC should be investigated by the DOJ, the FBI and the CIA for Aiding and Abetting the Enemy. Call them now!

By Alex Nitzberg June 21, 2020 – 2:43pm

The president’s first campaign rally in months drew a smaller crowd than anticipated on Saturday in Tulsa, Oklahoma. After Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale tweeted that protestors prevented some people from getting into the rally, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez responded by saying that the Trump campaign experienced an artificially inflated number of ticket requests.

“Radical protestors, fueled by a week of apocalyptic media coverage, interfered with @realDonaldTrump supporters at the rally,” Parscale tweeted. “They even blocked access to the metal detectors, preventing people from entering.”

The New York Democratic congresswoman retweeted Parscale and said, “Actually you just got ROCKED by teens on TikTok who flooded the Trump campaign w/ fake ticket reservations & tricked you into believing a million people wanted your white supremacist open mic enough to pack an arena during COVID.”

The New York Times reported that users of the social media platform TikTok and fans of Korean pop music groups claim to have inflated rally registration numbers by signing up for tickets online.

Parscale on Monday had tweeted that the campaign received more than one million ticket requests ahead of the rally. But there reportedly were thousands of empty seats inside the Bank of Oklahoma’s BOK Center during the rally.

In a statement on Sunday, Parscale explained that the campaign identifies fake phone numbers in rally registrations when figuring the potential number of people who may attend. He also noted that people do not need to pre-register to gain admission to the president’s rallies.

“Leftists and online trolls doing a victory lap, thinking they somehow impacted rally attendance, don’t know what they’re talking about or how our rallies work,” he said in the statement. “Reporters who wrote gleefully about TikTok and K-Pop fans – without contacting the campaign for comment – behaved unprofessionally and were willing dupes to the charade. Registering for a rally means you’ve RSVPed with a cell phone number and we constantly weed out bogus numbers, as we did with tens of thousands at the Tulsa rally, in calculating our possible attendee pool.

“These phony ticket requests never factor into our thinking,” he said. “What makes this lame attempt at hacking our events even more foolish is the fact that every rally is general admission – entry is on a first-come-first-served basis and prior registration is not required.”

Parscale sharply criticized the media, saying that people chose not to attend the rally due to media warnings about coronavirus and protestors.

“The fact is that a week’s worth of the fake news media warning people away from the rally because of COVID and protestors, coupled with recent images of American cities on fire, had a real impact on people bringing their families and children to the rally,” Parsacla said. “MSNBC was among outlets reporting that protesters even blocked entrances to the rally at times. For the media to now celebrate the fear that they helped create is disgusting, but typical.”

For Posterity, Least We Forget The Trail Of Tears Obama Left Us From 2015

Inside the Ring: Muslim Brotherhood has Obama’s secret support and WHO DOUBLE-CROSSED THE SEALS? – Washington Times

Obama secretly backing Muslim Brotherhood

President Obama and his administration continue to support the global Islamist militant group known the Muslim Brotherhood. A White House strategy document regards the group as a moderate alternative to more violent Islamist groups like al Qaeda and the Islamic State.

The policy of backing the Muslim Brotherhood is outlined in a secret directive called Presidential Study Directive-11, or PSD-11. The directive was produced in 2011 and outlines administration support for political reform in the Middle East and North Africa, according to officials familiar with the classified study.

Efforts to force the administration to release the directive or portions of it under the Freedom of Information Act have been unsuccessful.

White House National Security Council spokeswoman Bernadette Meehan declined to comment on PSD-11. “We have nothing for you on this,” she said.

The directive outlines why the administration has chosen the Muslim Brotherhood, which last year was labeled a terrorist organization by the governments of Saudi Arabia, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates as a key vehicle of U.S. backing for so-called political reform in the Middle East. Saudi Arabia in recent months appears to be moderating its opposition to the Brotherhood in a bid to gain more regional support against pro-Iran rebels in Yemen.

The UAE government also has labeled two U.S. affiliates of the Muslim Brotherhood, the Council on American-Islamic Relations and the Muslim American Society, as terrorist support groups. Both groups denied the UAE claims. Egypt is considering imposing a death sentence on Mohamed Morsi, the Muslim Brotherhood-backed former president who was ousted in military coup in July 2013.

Critics of the administration’s strategy say the Brotherhood masks its goals and objectives despite advocating an extremist ideology similar to those espoused by al Qaeda and the Islamic State, but with less violence. The group’s motto includes the phrase “jihad is our way.” Jihad means holy war and is the Islamist battle cry.

Counterterrorism analyst Patrick Poole said the Brotherhood in recent weeks has stepped up its use of violent attacks in Egypt.

“The failed Obama Doctrine that so-called ‘moderate Islamists’ were going to usher in a glorious era of peace and democracy in the Middle East was adopted by the administration because that’s what the foreign policy establishment going back to the George W. Bush administration proclaimed as gospel,” Mr. Poole said.

“And now we see as a result Egypt fighting a terror campaign by the ‘moderate’ Muslim Brotherhood; we have a failed state in Libya; and we see NATO ally Turkey turning from secular democracy to religious totalitarianism under Obama’s pal [Turkish President Recep Tayyip] Erdogan.

“This dangerous foreign policy was launched by PSD-11 and the administration’s open embrace of the Muslim Brotherhood, and now we can see its catastrophic effect,” Mr. Poole added.

Frank Gaffney, head of the Center for Security Policy, extensively documented Muslim Brotherhood subversion efforts, both in the United States and abroad.

Mr. Gaffney has said the Muslim Brotherhood is the most dangerous group promoting the totalitarian and Islamist supremacist doctrine of Shariah. Several Muslim Brotherhood supporters have been identified as key advisers to Mr. Obama, according to Mr. Gaffney.

Egyptian press reports after the ouster of Mr. Morsi have revealed extensive cooperation between the CIA and the Muslim Brotherhood during Mr. Morsi’s presidency.

CHINESE COLONEL ON INFORMATION WARFARE

Retired Chinese Col. Liu Mingfu, one of Beijing’s most significant military supremacists, this week confirmed that China is using information warfare against its enemies.

Col. Liu spoke Monday night at the Georgetown home of Michael Pillsbury, a longtime consultant to the Pentagon on China, in promoting the English-language version of the colonel’s 2010 book, “The China Dream.” The book calls for China to replace the United States as global hegemon. The book’s ideas were adopted by Beijing’s communist rulers and have become the main “thought” of current party boss and President Xi Jinping.

Asked about the contradiction between official claims that China seeks peace and the covert use of the so-called three warfares — psychological, media and legal information operations — against enemies, Col. Liu said: “I don’t deny it.

“You Americans have the three warfares also,” he said. “Japan has it. All the great powers in the world use these techniques. If China doesn’t have it, then we definitely should have it.”

The Georgetown reception brought together a number of former government officials and journalists, including former Deputy Defense Secretary Paul Wolfowitz and Joseph DeTrani, former CIA official and former director of the DNI Counter Proliferation Center. New York Times reporter David Sanger and Fox News correspondent James Rosen also were present.

The reception was held at the O Street residence of Mr. Pillsbury, who was promoting his own recently published book that decodes China’s anti-U.S. strategy called “The Hundred Year Marathon.”

Col. Liu said he expected Mr. Pillsbury’s book to be translated into Chinese and sold in China.

During remarks, Col. Liu said part of China’s grand strategy is countering what he called a CIA-backed U.S. program of containment against China.

Despite noting that his remarks did not reflect official Chinese government or military policies, Col. Liu did not stray from the well-worn official talking points used by Chinese government spokesmen in presenting official views on security and policy matters.

Col. Liu in his book urged China to build up its military power to swiftly replace the United States as the world’s global power. He wrote that the U.S.-Chinese rivalry is a “competition to be the leading country, a conflict over who rises and falls to dominate the world.”

“To save itself, to save the world, China must prepare to become the [world’s] helmsman,” he states.

WHO DOUBLE-CROSSED THE SEALS?

Best-selling author and former Navy judge advocate Don Brown is out with a new book that investigates the shoot-down of Extortion 17, the worst wartime loss of life in the history of Navy special operations warfare.

The book, “Call Sign Extortion 17: The Shoot-Down of SEAL Team Six,” is an exhaustive look at a tragedy for which the military’s official version defies logic for some of the sailors’ survivors.

The No. 1 gnawing question: How did an Afghan Taliban fighter, armed with a grenade launcher, just happen to be stationed near the Chinook helicopter’s landing zone — a spot never before used to insert troops. His rocket-propelled grenade shot clipped a rotor blade, sending the non-special-operations helicopter into a violent spin and deadly crash.

The sequence of events led some family members of those killed to believe that the ambush was an inside job — that someone in the Afghan chain of command sent word to Taliban fighters that a reinforcement of SEALS was on the way to aid Army Rangers and that the aircraft was planning to land at that specified spot.

After all, on the night of Aug. 6, 2011, the Chinook was transporting the same elite unit that killed Osama bin Laden three months earlier, a group that no doubt had a target on its back from al Qaeda and its supporters.

Then there is the mystery of the Afghan soldiers on board the helicopter with the 30 Americans who perished — a U.S. Army crew, the SEALs and special warfare technicians, including a military dog handler.

The seven Afghans listed on the manifest turned out not to be the ones who died on the chopper. Their identities were not disclosed in the official censored military report.

“Were they trying to hide the politically embarrassing fact that this flight was, or could have been, compromised by Taliban infiltrators determined to help sabotage it from the inside, or to communicate with Taliban forces on the ground about the chopper’s approach to coordinate the timing of a point-blank shot?” Mr. Brown writes.

“Something went terribly wrong inside that helicopter, and whatever went wrong was most likely beyond the pilots’ control,” he says. “It’s as if the unidentified Afghan infiltrators were the big pink elephant in the room that no one wants to talk about.”

Mr. Brown still practices law in North Carolina. He is best known for two best-selling novels, “Treason” and “Malacca Conspiracy.”

For his new book, the author turns mathematician. Using official investigative documents, he concludes that the shooter was just, at most, 178 feet from the chopper when he fired, not the 720 feet as cited by the chief investigator.

“What would be the chances that Extortion 17 would just happen to fly within 75 yards of a Taliban insurgent waiting with an RPG, unless the Taliban insurgent knew in advance exactly where Extortion 17 was going to land?” Mr. Brown asks. Then, answering his own question, he writes, “About as likely as finding a needle in a haystack.”

There is more than math in “Call Sign Extortion 17.” A full reading may well convince readers that those men were betrayed on the night of Aug. 6.
