#WalkAway Leader’s Facebook Ban Lifted, Only to Become Target for Leftist Hit Piece

Facebook quietly lifted the ban on #WalkAway founder Brandon Straka shortly after his appearance on Thursday’s Alex Jones Show.

But instead of notifying Stroka first, the social media giant reportedly informed a reporter on the ban removal; the reporter then contacted Straka to push the narrative that he and conservatives like him were lying about social media bans.

“Facebook apparently lifted my ban – then CONTACTED A REPORTER – NOT ME- & this reporter has already put out a piece calling me a liar about the ban,” said Straka. “I just checked & the ban has been lifted.”

Straka was allegedly banned from Facebook simply for promoting his Monday interview with Alex Jones.

“FACEBOOK JUST BANNED ME AS I AM PLANNING THE #WalkAway March on Washington!!! I have been banned from posting leading up to the March. This is devastating for our ability to reach people!!! I was banned for mentioning my interview with Alex Jones. Can anybody help???”

The tweet that earned him the ban was “Hey, Patriots! I’m going live on Infowars.com in 15 minutes.”

After receiving the Facebook ban, Straka warned his followers that it is apparently a bannable offense for merely mentioning Alex Jones.

“To be clear, you can be banned for SAYING THE NAME of a person or show that they don’t like,” he said.

But former guest to Alex Jones’ show, Bill Mitchell, suggested that Straka’s potent hashtag was the actual reason for the ban.

“#WalkAway Campaign is a grassroots movement,” Straka responded. “We don’t have corporate sponsors. We don’t have backers.”

“We are raising the money and the awareness for our event ourselves. And today Facebook took away my ability to communicate with the 180,000 members of the campaign leading up to the March.”

“This is going to smash my ability to provide information, answer questions, raise money, and rally with my people,” he added. “I am crushed.”

#WalkAway is a campaign designed to move Americans, particularly progressives, away from establishment Democrats.

The hashtag-based campaign struck a nerve because it speaks to an electorate that feels abandoned.

The removal of the 30-day ban, after Straka spoke out on Thursday, demonstrates that Facebook was taking too much heat for its brazen political bias.

#WalkAway Founder: Big Tech Thinks Infowars More Dangerous than Hitler

The man behind the Walk Away movement says he won’t back down after Facebook recently banned him for daring to mention “Infowars.”

“I literally wrote the post: ‘Hey patriots, I’ll be live on Infowars in 15 minutes. Be sure to tune in,’ and I got a 30-day ban from Facebook for writing that,” Walk Away founder Brandon Straka told Alex Jones Thursday.

The former Democrat, who left the party after seeing how it sowed discord and division, discussed his experience with the big tech conservative censorship purge currently in full swing.

“Who are these people to decide for everybody else what other people can and cannot hear what they can and cannot see and what they’re allowed to know or not know?” questioned Straka.

“It’s so fascinating to me that the name Alex Jones and Infowars is so dangerous and threatening that anybody needs to be banned if they even say that name, yet people on the left 10,000 a day use the word ‘Hitler’ when speaking about our president – that’s not a problem for them. So.. the word Infowars or Alex Jones is obviously more dangerous in their mind than ‘Hitler.’”

Walk Away’s Facebook ban comes after numerous tech companies banded together last month to launch a coordinated purge of Infowars from social media sites.

Straka is still planning the Walk Away March in DC on October 26-28, where he and a group of former Democrats will walk from the Democratic National Committee headquarters to the Capitol building, literally walking away from the Democrat party.

“I envisioned this massive event where we have tens of thousands of African Americans, tens of thousands of Hispanics and LGBT people, as well as every other type of person, walking away from the Democratic party, so that everybody including these minority groups can see something’s going on, you need to be walking away and paying attention…,” Straka said.

While Facebook’s ban has taken a toll on Straka, he says his team is looking into various workarounds, as contributions continue to pour in.

Meanwhile, supporters can still donate to the march at Walkawaymarch.com.

“I’m not gonna quit and I’m not gonna give up I’m gonna keep marching on and I’m gonna fight back,” declared Straka.

Following his appearance on Infowars Thursday, Straka claimed Facebook reinstated his account without notifying him, then contacted a reporter who proceeded to write a hit piece against him and conservative icons Diamond & Silk.

“The left is out of control,” Straka concluded.

Top Google Scientist Quits Over Plan for Censored Chinese Search Engine

A top Google employee has resigned in protest of the company’s work on a censored search engine for China.

The employee, 32-year-old Jack Poulson, who worked as a senior research scientist for Google’s research and machine intelligence division, first raised concerns at the company in early August after documents published by The Intercept first revealed the project’s existence.

Known internally as Dragonfly, the censored search engine would allow the Chinese government to keep its citizens from accessing any data it deems sensitive.

Poulson, who is believed to be one of at least 5 employees to quit over Dragonfly, told The Intercept‘s Ryan Gallagher that he felt an “ethical responsibility to resign” over the “forfeiture of our public human rights commitments.”

Aside from the censored search engine, Poulson also expressed concern over customer data being hosted in China, a country notorious for targeting dissidents.

Poulson laid out his issues with Dragonfly and Google’s direction in a resignation letter to his superiors.

“Due to my conviction that dissent is fundamental to functioning democracies, I am forced to resign in order to avoid contributing to, or profiting from, the erosion of protection for dissidents,” Poulson wrote. “I view our intent to capitulate to censorship and surveillance demands in exchange for access to the market as a forfeiture of our values and governmental negotiating position across the globe.”

The decision to pursue such projects, Poulson further argued, could lead to other authoritarian regimes making similar demands.

“There is an all-too-real possibility that other nations will attempt to leverage our actions in China in order to demand our compliance with their security demands,” Poulson wrote.

Despite growing outcry over Dragonfly, Google has thus far refused to publicly comment on the project, only stating that it does not discuss “speculation about future plans.”

Just last month a group of leading human rights organizations called on Google to immediately cease its involvement with the project.

“Like many of Google’s own employees, we are extremely concerned by reports that Google is developing a new censored search engine app for the Chinese market,” a letter to Google CEO Sundar Pichai said. “The Chinese government extensively violates the rights to freedom of expression and privacy; by accomodating the Chinese authorities’ repression of dissent, Google would be actively participating in those violations for millions of internet users in China.”

More than 1,400 Google employees also signed a similar letter last month demanding the company let its workers know what it was developing.

“Currently we do not have the information required to make ethically-informed decisions about our work, our projects, and our employment. That the decision to build Dragonfly was made in secret, and progressed with the [artificial intelligence] Principles in place, makes clear that the Principles alone are not enough,” the letter said. “We urgently need more transparency, a seat at the table, and a commitment to clear and open processes: Google employees need to know what we’re building.”

Google had previously built a search engine for China in 2006 but ended the program four years later after saying the Communist government attempted to curtail free speech and even tried to hack their computer systems as well.

Pichai, Google’s CEO, also refused earlier this month to appear before the Senate Intelligence Committee to answer questions regarding Dragonfly.

Leftist Tech Giants, ChiComs Celebrate Book Burning, In New Ben Garrison Art

The big tech elite, Democrats and the Communist Chinese government are reveling in their destruction of the First Amendment, in a new politically-incorrect cartoon from illustrator Ben Garrison.

In the past few weeks, the anti-free speech agenda of the left-leaning tech giants has become clear – destroy anyone who supports Trump and America’s recovery ahead of the midterm elections.

From Ben Garrison at GrrrGraphics.com:

The authoritarian left continues to shut down free speech and they’re getting away with it.

Their latest victim, ‘Roosh,’ sold his books for years on Amazon. His books mostly proffered advice about picking up girls. It’s an unsavory subject to many—especially feminists—but it’s his free speech and he wasn’t advising anything illegal. Bezos suddenly pulled the plug on Roosh’s books—many which were selling well. Who’s next? Conservative cartoonist books because the content offends the left?

It’s often said that the Internet and social media are the new ‘town square.’ Realizing that, the left-leaning Silicon Valley controls and monopolizes that town square. At first they claimed to be equivalent to the phone company. They provided the platform and access and let the users add the content in the form of free speech. That’s now no longer the case. Clearly Google, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube are skewing content in favor of the left.

A 60 minute video of a 2016 meeting with top management at Google was released to Breitbart today, revealing their panic and dismay that Hillary had lost and Trump won. Google’s top executives, who preside over a company with unrivaled influence over the flow of information, are disparaging the motivations of Trump voters and plotting ways to use their vast resources to thwart the Trump agenda. Google is nothing more than Democrat propaganda and used to influence voters and swing elections.
