From Morgan asking for prayers for Baby Moo Rally:“Please have everyone say a prayer for Rally. I noticed this morning when we were feeding that her left eye was swollen with drainage under it and it looked discolored. The vet just left - she has an ulcer that has formed from what looks like a scratch to the eye. (In the close up photo of her eye you can see the black spot where there may have been some sort of splinter). This time of year it is common for cows and horses to have this happen. When they have flies on them they often throw their head around to try getting them off and she could have hit a branch when doing so. The vet gave her an antibiotic and medicine to help bring down the swelling. Our best option of treatment was to suture her eye shut to keep bugs and any other objects out as well as the sun. The sun can cause the ulcer to get worse a lot faster so it’s very important her eye stays closed for 4 weeks. The vet gave me an ointment I will be putting in her eye every other day which should help with the healing process. We are praying that over the next 4 weeks the ulcer will heal and she will regain her vision. ❤️”Thank you for your prayers for Rally. God bless you.
