President Trump weighed-in on the Inspector General’s Russia Report from the White House Monday; calling recent revelations proof of an “attempted overthrow” of government.
“They fabricated evidence, they lied to the courts. They did all sorts of things to have it go their way. The report is far worse than anything I would have even imagined… What they were doing and what they would have done,” said the President.
“They might have been able to succeed. This was an overthrow of government, this was an attempted overthrow, and they got caught,” he added.
