VIDEO: Former CIA Analyst Ray McGovern Being Arrested and Assaulted by NYPD

A newly released video shows former CIA analyst Ray McGovern being arrested and assaulted by the New York Police Department.
The video was filmed in October 2014 and shows McGovern, now an antiwar activist, attempting to attend a New York City event where former CIA director David Petraeus was speaking. McGovern, 75, had a ticket to attend the event but was arrested before he could enter.
At the time McGovern told RT, “I was warned as soon as I got to the ticket-taker, ‘Ray, you’re not welcome here.” McGovern showed up at the event with his arm in a sling, and a black eye from a previous injury. He said the injuries were made worse by the actions of the NYPD. In the video he can be heard screaming in agony. He would be charged with resisting arrest.

In an interview with RT, the former CIA analyst said he wanted to ask Patraeus questions regarding his policies during his time as General during the Iraq war.
