by Anna Von ReitzToday I have to share one of my all-time favorites so far to come out of all the efforts of Americans to tell government where to stop.When two Oregon Ranchers were contacted by the Oregon Fish and Wildlife authorities about conducting a habitat survey project on their land related to an endangered frog species—which could be used as an excuse to confiscate or interfere with their use of their property— they promptly wrote back:Dear Mr. Niemela:Thank you for your inquiry regarding accessing our property to survey for the yellow-legged frog. We may be able to help you out with this matter.We have divided our 2.26 acres into 75 equal survey units with a draw tag for each unit. Application fees are only $8.00 per unit after you purchase the “Frog Survey License” ($120.00 resident / $180.00 Non-Resident). You will also need to obtain a “Frog Habitat” parking permit ($10.00 per vehicle). You will also need an “Invasive Species” stamp ($15.00 for the first vehicle and $5.00 for each add’l vehicle) You will also want to register at the Check Station to have your vehicle inspected for non-native plant life prior to entering our property. There is also a Day Use fee, $5.00 per vehicle.If you are successful in the Draw you will be notified two weeks in advance so you can make necessary plans and purchase your “Creek Habitat” stamp. ($18.00 Resident / $140.00 Non-Resident). Survey units open between 8am and 3pm but you cannot commence survey until 9am and must cease all survey activity by 1pm.Survey Gear can only include a net with a 2″ diameter made of 100% organic cotton netting with no longer than an 18″ handle, non-weighted and no deeper than 6′ from net frame to bottom of net. Handles can only be made of BPA-free plastics or wooden handles. After 1pm you can use a net with a 3″ diameter if you purchase the “Frog Net Endorsement” ($75.00 Resident / $250 Non-Resident). If you have been following our advocacy work on cancer, particularly in connection with thedark side of breast cancer awareness month, you know that we have been calling for the complete reclassification of some types of ‘breast cancer’ as benign lesions, e.g. ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS), as well as pointing out repeatedly that x-ray based breast screenings are not only highly carcinogenic but are also causing an epidemic of “overdiagnosis” and “overtreatment” in US women, with an estimated 1.3 million cases in the past 30 years alone.

A National Cancer Institute commissioned panel’s report published in JAMA online confirmed that we all – public and professionals alike – should stop calling low-risk lesions like DCIS and high-grade prostatic intraepithelial neoplasia (HGPIN) ‘cancer.’

There are wide-reaching implications to this recommendation, including:

  • Millions of women in this country have been diagnosed with DCIS, and millions of men with HGPIN, and subsequently [mis]treated. Are they now to be retroactively reclassified as ‘victims’ of iatrogenesis, with legal recourse to seek compensation?
  • Anyone engaged in a cancer screening will now need to reconsider and weigh both the risks and benefits of such a ‘preventive’ strategy, considering that the likelihood of being diagnosed with a false positive over 10 years is already over 50% for women undergoing annual breast screening.
  • The burgeoning pink ribbon-bedecked ‘breast cancer awareness’ industry will be forced to reformulate its message, as it is theoretically culpable for the overdiagnosis and overtreatment of millions of US women by propagating an entirely false concept of ‘cancer.’

The practice of oncology in the United States is in need of a host of reforms and initiatives to mitigate the problem of overdiagnosis and overtreatment of cancer, according to a working group sanctioned by the National Cancer Institute.

Perhaps most dramatically, the group says that a number of premalignant conditions, including ductal carcinoma in situ and high-grade prostatic intraepithelial neoplasia, should no longer be called “cancer.”

Instead, the conditions should be labeled something more appropriate, such as indolent lesions of epithelial origin (IDLE), the working group suggests. The Viewpoint report was published online July 29 in JAMA.

Fundamentally, overdiagnosis results from the fact that screen-detected ‘cancers’ are disproportionately slower growing ones, present with few to no symptoms, and would never progress to cause harm if left undiagnosed and untreated.

As you can see by the graph above, it is the fast-growing tumors which will be more difficult to ‘detect early,’ and will progress rapidly enough to cause symptoms and perhaps even death unless treated aggressively. But even in the case of finding the tumor early enough to contain it through surgery, chemotherapy and/or radiation, it is well-known that the minority subpopulation of cancer stem cells within these tumors will be enriched and therefore made more malignant through conventional treatment. For instance, radiotherapy radiation wavelengths were only recently found by UCLA Jonnsson Comprehensive Cancer Center researchers to transform breast cancer cells into highly malignant cancer stem-cell like cells, with 30 times higher malignancy post-treatment.

What this means is that not only are millions of screen-detected abnormalities not ‘cancer’ in the first place but even those which can be considered fast-growing are often being driven into greater malignancy by the conventional chemotherapy, radiation and surgery-based standard of cancer care itself.

Our entire world view of cancer needs to shift from an enemy that “attacks” us and that we must wage war against, to something our body does, presumably to survive an increasingly inhospitable, nutrient-deprived, carcinogen- and radiation-saturated environment, i.e. Cancer As An Ancient Survival Mechanism Unmasked.

When we look at cancer through the optic of fear and see it as an essentially chaos-driven infinitely expanding mass of cells, we are apt to make irrational choices. The physiological state of fear itself has been found to activate multidrug resistance proteins within cancer cells, explaining how our very perception of cancer can influence and/or determine its physiological status and/or trajectory within our body.

The NCI panel report opined:

“The word “cancer” often invokes the specter of an inexorably lethal process; however, cancers are heterogeneous and can follow multiple paths, not all of which progress to metastases and death, and include indolent disease that causes no harm during the patient’s lifetime.”

We must keep in mind that this proposed redefinition of cancer is no small academic matter, but will affect the lives of millions of women. Consider that every year, approximately 60,000 women in this country are diagnosed with DCIS, a diagnosis so traumatic that it results in significant psychiatric depression 3 years after even a ‘false positive’ diagnosis. For those less fortunate women, numbering in the millions over the past 30 years, who were told they had ‘cancer’ and needed to undergo lumpectomy, radiation, chemotherapy and/or mastectomy, the NCI panel’s recommendation is a hard pill swallow after the damage has already been irrevocably done.

So, what’s the solution? There is a growing movement towards the use of thermography as a primary diagnostic tool, as it uses no ionizing radiation, and can detect the underlying physiological processes that may indicate inflammation, angiogenesis, cancer-specific metabolic changes, etc., many years before a calcified lesion would appear within an x-ray mammogram. Also, the mainstay of any truly preventive strategy against cancer is diet, nutrition, exercise and avoiding chemical and radiation exposures – the things that we can do  in our daily lives to take back control of and responsibility for our health.

Media Slams Obama For Hypocritical Lecturing While He Censors Information, Prosecutes Leakers

President Obama lectured the mainstream media Tuesday, charging that it is not holding presidential candidates accountable. Members of the media hit back, calling Obama a hypocrite for not allowing them to do so.

Obama made the remarks at a media awards dinner, saying that the job of a political reporter should constitute “more than just handing someone a microphone.”

Obama continued, “It’s to probe and to question and to dig deeper.”

CNN’s Jake Tapper didn’t take to kindly to Obama’s remarks, pointing out that Obama as “the messenger was a curious one.”

“Many believe that Obama’s call for us to probe and dig deeper and find out more has been made far more difficult by his administration than any in recent decades. A far cry from the assurances he offered when he first took office,” Tapper said, referring to the fact that transparency under Obama has been sorely lacking.

Recent reports suggest that the Obama administration has failed to respond to almost 130,000 public records requests under the Freedom of Information Act, a new record.

A recent Pro Publica report also noted that “The Associated Pressfound last year that the administration had set a record for censoring or denying access to information requested under FOIA.”

“The backlog of unanswered requests across the government had risen by 55 percent, to more than 200,000.” the report notes.

Tapper also pointed out that the Obama administration has set new standards for punishing whistleblowers, using the Espionage Act to prosecute more leakers than all other administrations in history COMBINED.

“Maybe, just maybe, your lecturing would be better delivered to your own administration,” Tapper said.

Joe Scarborough of MSNBC’s Morning Joe also chimed in on Obama’s hypocrisy, noting “There’s a man lecturing the media on how to do their business. The man who has not sat down for an extended interview with The Washington Post in seven and a half years.”

“And yet, [Obama] gladly submits himself to being interviewed by YouTube stars who sit in bathtubs with milk and Fruit Loops.” Scarborough added, referring to an interview Obama did last year with GloZell Green.

“Fruit Loops, I say.” Scarborough continued.

“And also another podcast called “WTF” with a liberal, L.A. comedian. But hasn’t sat down with The Washington Post in seven and a half years! But we really should hold ourselves to a higher standard.” the host added.

Presidential campaign seasons are a free-for-all. Candidates can say whatever they want to get votes. Nothing that is said is binding. Nothing promised ever has to be implemented. Candidates don’t know who votes for them. Voters can’t say: “But you promised…” Actually, they can say it, but it doesn’t matter. They’ll still vote the next time. Election campaigns are the ultimate swindle.
Here’s a quick 34 second YouTube clip of Hillary Clinton making a very common and deeply flawed statement. She tells a complete lie, but lies are just as valuable as the truth to politicians. They can both be used to get votes.
Hillary says:

“There is no evidence that the minimum wage being raised costs jobs.”

Common statement. Totally untrue. Gets votes.
So if the minimum wage is $10/hr, it means that all individuals without the skills or productivity to earn $10/hr are forced into unemployment. They cannot get a job (by law) even if they are ready and willing to work for less.
If government raises the minimum to $15/hr, the squeeze is put on even more. Now, even if you really want to work, but only have the skills to earn $10, or $9, or $8/hr, you’re out of luck. Even if employers would have gladly paid you, government had different plans for you … unemployment.
That’s really all the minimum wage does – it creates unemployment for individuals of a certain skill and productivity level. The minimum wage doesn’t create anything. It only destroys.
If, as Hillary states, “there is no evidence” that raising the minimum wage costs jobs, why be so stingy? Why not raise the minimum wage to $50/hr? If it won’t cost jobs, what’s the holdup?
If the minimum wage was raised to $50/hr, a vast majority of the people reading this would be instantly thrown out of work. If your skills and productivity can only fetch $20 or $25/hr, why would someone pay you $50? Because the government says so?
Ha!
Government has no problem throwing the lowest skilled people out of work, which is why they move so slowly in raising the minimum wage. They don’t care about the poor and low-skilled. Instead of working, those people can just go on the government dole. They can become loyal dependents who will then vote to keep the their welfare coming in the next election.
The minimum wage (any minimum wage) is strictly and exclusively a job killer.
The only determination is which jobs will be killed. If you’re poor, low-skilled, a teenager, or not very productive, Hillary is coming for you.

Breitbart Tech Editor Milo Yiannopoulos joined Dave Rubin on the Rubin Report Tuesday after the Brussels terrorist attacks, during which he discussed the implications of importing millions of Muslims into the west, and the reason why Islam, not just radical Islam, is part of the problem.

“This is sort of what liberalism has welcomed into Europe,” Yiannopoulos said. “This is the excuse making that’s being made for radical Islam that has prevented us from fighting this problem by people who lie about the source of these people and news stations who refuse to accept that these attacks have anything to do with Islam… this is preventing us from fixing the problem. This is preventing people from taking adequate security precautions, and looking after themselves.”

“Europe now is welcoming in millions of people from alien cultures whilst the establishment refuses to accept that these people’s belief systems are just dramatically incompatible with our own, and the regular citizenry are being lied to and lied about constantly, all the time by the media on this stuff,” Yiannopoulos said on the topic of the Brussels attacks.

“We have a population that is not able to protect itself, that is not adequately informed about the risks and dangers of radical Islam, and the problem in Europe is that this stuff is now happening everywhere,” he continued. “No one is safe, anywhere in Europe. It’s happened in Paris, it’s happened in London, it’s happened in Brussels, no one is safe from this stuff and what do our politicians leap to the airways to say? ‘I really want to make it clear that this has nothing to do with Islam’. Well it does. It does, and as a gay man I am terrified by the prospect of mass Muslim immigration into Europe. This is one of the reasons I spend so much time in America now, I don’t want to be there anymore.”

“Why are we surprised that Muslims are blowing things up? That’s what they do,” Yiannopoulos claimed. “I don’t care about that, you know it’s horrific for the people who are on the receiving end of this terrorist stuff, but is anybody surprised that ISIS blew something up? No.”

Rubin told Yiannopoulos that he was going to save him “a little bit of Internet hate” and reiterated that the conversation was about extremism, not about Muslim’s as a whole, clarifying that there was a distinction between peaceful Muslims and extremists.

“You don’t need to do me that favour. No, I don’t care about the distinction,” Yiannopoulos countered. “It is not extremists. It is not radical Islamists. It is not the people that the security service are worried about that’s the problem, it is the silent majority of Muslims who do nothing in this situation, have no peace movement, have no resistance to their own extreme elements, just like the progressive left in the West. Is it eleven countries that you and I could be killed for who we are? That’s not ISIS, that is mainstream Muslim culture, and we are importing that stuff into Europe in millions.”

“No, I don’t make a meaningful distinction between these things because I don’t care. I don’t see any reason to import these cultures into liberal Western democracies,” he continued. “I see no reason to do it whatsoever, and as Brigitte Gabriel once brilliantly said, ‘In any case, the peaceful majority are irrelevant.’ It is not the peaceful majority that blow up buildings, it is the extremists, and right now in the world all of this stuff is coming from one culture and one religion, and I don’t want it here.”

Upon being asked about how to sort out the problem and what the world needs to do to face this issue, Yiannopoulos responded: “We don’t have to welcome 1.4 million of them into Germany. We don’t have to lie to people about what Islam is, and what Muslims believe, which the press and our politicians do all the time. We don’t have to intervene in their counties where it’s not necessary and we don’t need to, and I supported the Iraq war, but some of the other things we do in the Middle East are not necessary and just drum up this Western hatred.”

“I mean look, the problem is not just radical Islam. The problem is Islam,” he argued. “There are structural problems with this religion that means it is incompatible with the modern free Western liberal democracy that we live in.”

Judicial Watch: Documents Reveal US Army Indoctrinated Soldiers on Dangers of ‘White Privilege’

‘Our society attaches privilege to being white and male and heterosexual.’

(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch announced today that it obtained documents from the United States Department of the Army revealing that in April 2015, 400 soldiers in the 67th Signal Battalion at Fort Gordon, Georgia, were subjected to a “white privilege” briefing, including a PowerPoint presentation instructing the attendees: “Our society attaches privilege to being white and male and heterosexual …”

The slideshow also informed the soldiers: “Race privilege gives whites little reason to pay a lot of attention to African Americans.” It alleged that there are unspecified “powerful forces everywhere” keeping different kinds of people from being valued, accepted, and appreciated, but “we act as if it doesn’t exist.” This alleged privilege creates a “yawning divide” in income, wealth, and dignity.  The material described a mythical African woman who isn’t aware that she’s black until she comes to America, encounters “white racism” and discovers the U.S. is “organized according to race.”

The Department of the Army documents were obtained in response to a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request seeking:

Any and all materials used in an Equal Opportunity briefing provided on April 2, 2015, to the 67th Signal Battalion at Fort Gordon, Georgia, which included a discussion of “white privilege,” including but not limited to, handouts, PowerPoint presentations, audio/video tapes, course syllabi, and any recordings of the presentation itself.

The response to the Judicial Watch FOIA request included the entire Equal Opportunity Training PowerPoint presentation entitled “Power and Privilege,” which states:

Privilege exists when one group has something of value that is denied to others simply because of the groups they belong to, rather than because of anything they’ve done or failed to do.

Privilege has become one of those loaded words we need to reclaim so that we can use it to name and illuminate the truth

Race privilege gives whites little reason to pay a lot of attention to African Americans or to how white privilege affects them. “To be white in American [sic] means not having to think about it” [Quotation not attributed]

It creates a yawning divide in levels of income, wealth, dignity, safety, health and quality of life.

It promotes fear, suspicion, discrimination, harassment, and violence.

Consider the “black woman” in Africa who has not experienced white racism and does not identify herself as a “black woman”.  African, a woman, but not black.

She only became “black” when she came to the U.S. where privilege is organized according to race, where she is assigned to a social category that bears that name and she is treated differently as a result. [Emphasis added]

The trouble we’re in can’t be solved unless the “privileged” make the problem of privilege their problem and do something about it.

The fact that it’s so easy for me and other people in dominant groups not to do this is the single most powerful barrier to change.

Though news of the indoctrination incident was briefly reported in Stars and Stripes shortly after it occurred, only one of the above slides previously has been made public.  Confronted with the information at the time, an Army spokesperson claimed the presentation was not officially sanctioned.

Judicial Watch previously obtained Defense Department equal opportunity training materials that depict conservative organizations as “hate groups” and advise students to be aware that “many extremists will talk of individual liberties, states’ rights, and how to make the world a better place.”  And last month, Judicial Watch uncovered Air Force Academy documents that show how the Academy used its “Chapel Tithes and Offering Fund” to pay for cadets to participate in worship services featuring witchcraft, “Faery Magick,” and voodoo.

“Outrageous – that is the only word to describe this type of raw racist indoctrination,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton.  “The Obama administration undermines the morale of our military with morally repugnant ‘equal opportunity training’ that makes many soldiers feel unwelcome because they are the wrong sex, race, religion or aren’t part of a politically correct group.”

The NDAA Legalizes The Use Of Propaganda On The US Public

The newest version of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) includes an amendment that would legalize the use of propaganda on the American public, reports Michael Hastings ofBuzzFeed.

The amendment — proposed by Mac Thornberry (R-Texas) and Adam Smith (D-Wash.) and passed in the House last Friday afternoon — would effectively nullify the Smith-Mundt Act of 1948, which explicitly forbids information and psychological operations aimed at influencing U.S. public opinion.

Thornberry said that the current law “ties the hands of America’s diplomatic officials, military, and others by inhibiting our ability to effectively communicate in a credible way,” according to Buzzfeed.

The vote came two days after a federal judged ruledthat an indefinite detention provision in the annual defense bill was unconstitutional.

Lt. Col. Daniel Davis, who released a highly critical report regarding the distortion of truth by senior military officials in Iraq and Afghanistan, dedicated a section of his report to Information Operations (IO) and states that after Desert Storm the military wanted to transform IO “into a core military competency on a par with air, ground, maritime and special operations.”

Davis defines IO as “the integrated employment of electronic warfare (EW), computer network operations (CNO), psychological operations (PSYOP), military deception (MILDEC), and operations security (OPSEC), in concert with specified supporting and related capabilities, to influence, disrupt, corrupt or usurp adversarial human and automated decision making while protecting our own.”

IO are primarily used to target foreign audiences, but Davis cites numerous senior leaders who want to (in the words of  Colonel Richard B. Leap) “protect a key friendly center of gravity, to wit US national will” by repealing the Smith-Mundt Act to allow the direct deployment of these tactics on the American public.

Davis quotes Brigadier General Ralph O. If the NDAA goes into effect in its current form, the State Department and Pentagon can go beyond manipulating mainstream media outlets and directly disseminate campaigns of misinformation to the U.S. public.

There are no Benghazi hearings on the House calendar, but the silence doesn’t mean the investigation is fading away.

Rep. Trey Gowdy is launching a special committee to wrangle a probe that’s sprawled across the jurisdictions of multiple headline-hungry committee chairmen.

And while the South Carolina Republican isn’t committing to specifics, such as whether there will be public hearings with high-profile witnesses like former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, his methodical approach could help the GOP savor a scandal that has at times looked more like a political sideshow.

“No one [has] defended the five-minute questioning [process] as the most calculated way of eliciting the most amount of information,” Gowdy said in an interview. “There is most assuredly a place for hearings but not if your primary focus is to gather facts.”

While there isn’t much happening publicly, the House select committee investigating the Sept. 11, 2012, attacks on the U.S. facility in Benghazi, Libya, is busy behind the scenes.

The panel is examining subpoenas from committees that previously investigated the Benghazi attacks to develop a list of unanswered questions from the Obama administration. There is also outreach to agencies that received requests for information.

Meanwhile, Gowdy is planning a series of closed-door meetings this month that could include a screening of a classified video from the Benghazi compound. He’s also checking with the 11 other lawmakers on the panel about working through the August recess.

And committee leaders from both parties are busy staffing up.

The response to the 2012 attack on a diplomatic mission in Benghazi deeply divided Congress. The attack left four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens, dead. Republicans accuse the Obama administration of covering up evidence that the attack was linked to terrorism while Democrats argue the GOP is simply drumming up a scandal.

As the committee’s investigation unfolds, perhaps the biggest challenge for Gowdy is to prove that his work isn’t simply a partisan exercise.

“I don’t want to appear naive but I do hold out some hope that a few things left remaining in politics, or in our society, can be above politics,” Gowdy said. “People who have worked with me in the past and the people on the other side of the aisle who I work with now, I don’t think they are at all surprised this is the approach that I am taking. My goal is to find out what happened.”

So far, Gowdy seems to be forging productive relationships with Democrats. He meets regularly with Maryland Rep. Elijah Cummings, the top Democrat on the panel, and the two often chat privately in the speaker’s lobby during House votes.

“I have a great working relationship with Chairman Gowdy, and I am hopeful that this will be the serious, bipartisan fact-finding investigation that he has promised,” Cummings told POLITICO.

Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) gave Gowdy a loose set of guidelines to pursue his investigation: Determine how the attacks occurred and issue recommendations on ways the U.S. could avoid future assaults on diplomatic outposts. Gowdy isn’t setting a timeline for the committee, but the investigation is expected to extend into 2015.

The committee has been allocated an expansive budget from the House. The panel has $3.3 million to spend this year on operations, according to documents from Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi’s office.

That amounts to about $2.2 million for the Republicans and just above $1 million for the Democrats.

The budget was first reported by USA Today.

Panel members are already examining the notes, documents and interview transcripts provided by the other congressional committees that investigated the terrorist attacks, including the House Oversight and Government Reform, Armed Services, Foreign Affairs, Intelligence and Judiciary committees.

That amounts to nearly 25,000 pages of documents, Gowdy said, which all need to be reorganized and categorized for the new committee.

“They have to be assimilated,” he said. “I was on OGR, but I would have no way of knowing what Intel or HASC had or how it was cataloged.”

Beyond sifting through documents, Gowdy said most of the focus right now is on hiring employees for the committee. He plans to personally interview job candidates, but finding qualified staffers with the appropriate security clearance is a slow-going task. The committee will dive into classified material, which limits much of the staffing pool to those with established clearances.

“Obviously, going from not existing to fully functioning takes some time,” Gowdy said. “Hiring staff is widely important but not always terribly exciting from a reader’s or viewer’s standpoint. …. You have to do that before you can fully constitute a committee and start work.”

Republicans tapped former Smith-Free Group Vice Chairman Phil Kiko as the panel’s staff director in May. The party hopes to fill roughly half of the staff positions by the end of July.

Democrats on the committee recently hired Susanne Sachsman Grooms as their staff director. She is a former Department of Justice prosecutor, who was the lead attorney for Oversight Committee Democrats on three highly controversial investigations: the Fast and Furious gun-walking operation, the IRS targeting of tea party groups, and Benghazi.

A groundbreaking new study finds synthetic (GMO) insulin is capable of rapidly producing type 1 diabetes in type 2 diabetics.
Last year, we reported on the dangers of insulin therapy for type 2 diabetics, following the publication of a study comprised of almost 85,000 type 2 diabetic patients that found insulin monotherapy doubled their risk of all-cause mortality, in addition to significantly increasing their risk for diabetes-related complications and cancer. Insulin monotherapy resulted in:

  • 2.0 times more myocardial infarctions.
  • 1.7 time more major adverse cardiac events
  • 1.4 time more strokes
  • 3.5 times more renal complications
  • 2.1 time more neuropathy
  • 1.2 times more eye complications
  • 1.4 times more cancer
  • 2.2 times more deaths

Now, a new study published in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism titled, “Insulin administration may trigger type 1 diabetes in Japanese type 2 diabetes patients with type 1 diabetes high-risk HLA class II and the insulin gene VNTR genotype,” is shedding light on a possible explanation for why insulin treatment may accelerate morbidity and mortality in type 2 diabetics. The study revealed that giving genetically susceptible type 2 diabetes patients recombinant insulin can trigger their bodies to target their own insulin producing cells for autoimmune destruction, effectively producing ‘double diabetes’: type 1 and type 2, as a result.
The Japanese study took 6 patients (4 men and 2 women) with type 2 diabetes, none of whom had previously received insulin therapy nor had markers for autoantibodies to their own insulin (e.g. GAD65). All patients were found to have the type 1 diabetes susceptibility gene known as type 1 diabetes high risk HLA class II (IDDM1), which is considered to play a role in up to 50% of type 1 diabetes cases, and the insulin gene VNTR genotype (IDDM2), believed to play a key role in susceptibility to type 2 diabetes.
After recombinant insulin administration their blood glucose control deteriorated, and their own insulin producing beta cells – as measured by declining C-peptide levels (a marker for the production of natural insulin) – decreased insulin production to a deficiency levels commonly found in type 1 diabetes patients. The average time it took for the patients to develop full blown type 1 diabetes was 7.7 months, with one patient developing the condition within 1.1 months.
Further tests revealed that the patients had antibodies against their own pancreatic islet cells (the cells responsible for producing insulin), insulin allergy or increased levels of insulin antibody. Additionally, 2 of 4 cases were found to have GAD-reactive and insulin peptide reactive Th1 cells, typical markers of autoimmunity induced type 1 diabetes.
The researchers concluded from their findings:

“The findings suggest that insulin administration may have triggered TIDM in patients with T2DM. IDDM1 and IDDM 2 as well as autoreactive T cells may contribute to the development of T1DM. Developing insulin-triggered T1DM if a patient’s blood glucose control acutely deteriorates after insulin administration should be carefully considered.”

The researchers also pointed out that there are a number trials underway to produce vaccines containing insulin intended to induce a ‘tolerogenic immune response’ and therefore ameliorate autoimmune type 1 diabetes.[1] Clearly, however, their findings run contrary to this expectation, revealing that it is possible that introducing exogenous forms of insulin may stimulate the opposite reaction and induced autoimmunity against the hormone, or the cells in the pancreas responsible for producing it.

Discussion: GMO Insulin Not the Same As Animal Derived Insulin

A possible explanation for these results lies in the difference between today’s synthetic insulin and insulin purified from animals such as pigs (porcine insulin), which is no longer available in countries like the U.S.
Insulin was actually the first protein to be synthesized with recombinant DNA (GMO) technology in the late 1970s,[2] and today, products like Lantus (insulin glargine [rDNA origin] injection) dominate the market. According to Sanofi, Lantus’ manufacturer their form is produced “by recombinant DNA technology utilizing a non-pathogenic laboratory strain of Escherichia coli (K12) as the production organism.” Synthetic insulin is classified as an insulin analog that differs significantly from human insulin in its primary amino acid structure: “Insulin glargine differs from human insulin in that the amino acid asparagine at position A21 is replaced by glycine and two arginines are added to the C-terminus of the B-chain.”  Lantus’ formulation also contains various ‘inactive ingredients,’ such as:

  • hydrochloric acid
  • sodium hydroxide (lye)
  • zinc
  • m-cresol (a coal tar derivative)
  • glycerol
  • polysorbate 20

The simultaneous injection of these antigenic ingredients along with synthetic insulin could be responsible for hypersensitizing the immune system against insulin in the same way that inactive and adjuvant ingredients in vaccines induce exaggerated immune reactions against the ‘active’ vaccine antigen (e.g. the viral or bacterial antigen) which sometimes results in the immune system attacking self-structures (autoimmunity).

According to a 1993 paper on recombinant human insulin, “Bacterially expressed proteins normally lack any secondary structure or post-translational modifications” – a highly significant fact, considering that complex proteins such as hormones actually have four levels of folding complexity: primary, secondary, tertiary and quaternary, all of which together determine the protein’s natural structure and therefore its function.  In fact, this complexity is so immense that Levinthal’s paradox states a fully folded protein (i.e., one that has attained its native conformation) must pass through such a large number of degrees of freedom to reach its native state that there is not enough time in the universe for it to move through all possible configurations to the one it was designed by nature to assume. Obviously, if synthetic insulin is not capable of obtaining the same 3-dimensional structure as natural insulin, nor is modified post-translationally through epigenetic regulatory processes, it cannot behave in the same way as natural insulin in the body, and would likely be identified as ‘other’ by the immune system, if not also cellular insulin receptors.

Research dating back to the early 1980s compared synthetic E. Coli derived insulin with porcine (pig) derived insulin in diabetic children and found that porcine insulin was more effective at lowering HbA1 values (a marker of damage associated with elevated blood sugar), superior at reducing fasting glucose concentrations, and less antibody reactive to insulin than synthetic insulin. [3]  While pig derived insulin has its limitations, especially considering there are limits to how much can be produced, clearly it is more appropriate than synthetic versions if it is true that the latter is incapable of reproducing the same therapeutic outcome for diabetics.

Natural Approaches To Diabetes Prevention and Treatment are the Future

The future of medicine will look to identifying and removing the causes of conditions like diabetes, instead of employing patented synthetic drugs and synthetic replacement therapies (which feed the deficiency), palliatively — especially considering the new research indicating they actually make the patient far worse. Also, diet is the #1 factor in the pathogenesis of most chronic conditions that afflict the modern world; more specifically, the consumption of foods or food-like products that deviate from our ancestral diets generate the physiological conditions that produce disease in the first place. Addressing the dietary causes and incompatibilities and many ‘diseases’ decelerate and may even regress.

Let the cover-up begin. Last night at 9:38, the Federal Aviation Commission established a no-fly zone over the Bundy Ranch and a 3 nautical mile area.
No pilots may operate an aircraft in the areas covered by this NOTAM (except as described)
ONLY RELIEF AIRCRAFT OPERATIONS UNDER DIRECTION OF BLM ARE AUTHORIZED IN THE AIRSPACE
This means that the only helicopters that will be allowed to fly overhead will belong to the government. News helicopters that might be filming will be strictly off-limits. The Bureau of Land Management can do whatever it wants to protesters without fear of their actions appearing on CNN.
This is not a good sign. In fact, with this occurring on a Friday night, anything that occurs in the protest area can be carefully swept under the rug. This is commonly referred to in the press industry as a “news dump”.
Bad news is released on a Friday afternoon or evening in an attempt to avoid media scrutiny. Fewer people pay attention to the news on Friday nights, Saturdays, and Sundays, so this information can be quietly doled out with far less hullabaloo. That also makes the weekend a “perfect” time for an assault on protesters.

Yesterday Clark County Tom Collins said that those traveling to the area to support the Bundy family “better have funeral plans.” This may not have just been bluster, but ominous foreshadowing of a planned event. Make no mistake, the stage is being set for this to be another Waco or Ruby Ridge: a government-propelled slaughter of those who refuse to comply. Without witnesses, they can spin the story just like they did in those two tragedies, putting the onus on the victims.

Here’s a hint: this has nothing to do with turtles. It has nothing to do with grazing cattle. It has to do with money and privileges for the elite.

Just in case some of you young whippersnappers (& some older ones) didn’t know this.
It’s easy to check out, if you don’t believe it. Be sure and show it to your family
and friends. They need a little history lesson on what’s what and it doesn’t matter
whether you are Democrat or Republican. Facts are Facts.


Social Security Cards up until the 1980s expressly stated the number and
card were not to be used for identification purposes. Since nearly everyone in the
United States now has a number, it became convenient to use it anyway and the
message, NOT FOR IDENTIFICATION, was removed.

Security (FICA) Program. He promised:
1.) That participation in the Program would be

Russian Threat Of War Over Ukraine Stuns Obama Regime

A new report by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) relating to the ongoing crisis in Ukraine says that United States President Barack Obama was “stunned” yesterday after President Putin warned him in a telephone dialogue between these two leaders that Russia was prepared to send over 250,000 heavily armed troops into Crimea to protect the sovereignty of its citizens against further US-EU aggression.
Crimea is an autonomous parliamentary republic within Ukraine with a population over 2 million whose ethnic makeup is over 70% Russian and Crimean Tartars as opposed to 24% Ukrainian and is the home base of the Russian Black Sea Fleet located in Sevastopol.
Putin first became involved in this latest Ukraine crisis this week, this report says, after receiving a call from Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych who called for direct intervention by Moscow due to his nation being under “direct attack” from Neo-Nazi and right-wing nationalist mobs supported by the EU and US in conflicts that have left, at least, 67 dead.
Important to note, this report continues, is that the Obama regime has instigated a number of “silent coups” against democratically elected governments it wishes to destabilize, fragment and then reabsorb into its Western alliance.
Unfortunately for the people of Ukraine, this report says, the Obama regime and their EU counterparts have aligned themselves with the much feared Right Sector opposition group that consists mostly of young men with right-wing, ultra right-wing, borderline fascists, and the even more feared far-right nationalist Svoboda Party that has been described as an anti-Semitic and sometimes a Neo-Nazi party by international newspapers organizations that monitor hate speech, Jewish organizations, and political opponents.
The International Business Times (IBC) in warning about the Svoboda Party said it cannot be called a “fringe” party as it currently occupies 36 seats in the 450-member Ukrainian parliament, granting it status as the fourth-largest party in the country.
Further, IBC says, Svoboda is linked to other far-right groups across Europe through its membership in the Alliance of European National Movements, which includes the British National Party (BNP) of the United Kingdom and Jobbik, the neo-fascist, anti-Semitic and anti-Roma party of Hungary.
In heeding Yanukovych’s call for direct intervention against these Western supported fascists, this report says, Putin ordered Human Rights Commissioner Vladimir Lukin to broker an immediate halt to the crisis by warning that Russia “was ready to go to war over Crimea.”
After meeting with Lukin, this report continues, Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski was taped by ITV News bluntly stating to the fascist Ukrainian opposition leaders, “If you don’t support this [deal] you’ll have martial law, you’ll have the army. You will all be dead.”
Should the most extreme measures be used in this crisis by the Russian military, this report further states, the legal authority to do so rests with the appeal of the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea to Yanukovych that was presented by the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of Crimea to the President urging him to take extraordinary measures to preserve the constitutional order and unity in Ukraine, and which Putin is bound to support by treaty.
Though an agreement was reached yesterday to end this crisis, this report continues (which Russia refused to sign and Yanukovych stated on Ukrainian television that he would sign not documents with the “bandits” who terrorize the Ukraine) Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov nevertheless expressed his deepest concern to the foreign ministers of Germany, France and Poland about the Ukrainian opposition’s inability to negotiate on the agreement.
Even worse, this report continues, the fascist led Ukrainian parliament declared President Yanukovych constitutionally unable to carry out his duties earlier today and set an early election for 25 May, a move Yanukovych refused to recognize by declaring that a coup d’état was underway and that he is not going to resign.
One of the first “unintended blowbacks” for the West following their “silent coup” attempts in Ukraine, this report states, was Iceland’s decision earlier today to cancel their referendum on joining the EU as they are no longer interested in joining this trade bloc, a move made by Ukraine this past November that started this latest crisis in the first place.
With Foreign Minister Lavrov noting Western hypocrisy relating to Ukraine violence by stating, “When something like this happens within a European country, no one questions the need to curb the disorder and violence with firm measures,” this report concludes, it remains up to Obama to heed Putin’s warning to avert an all-out war.

Jason Glicker is a substitute teacher at Grosse Pointe North High School in Detroit, MI.
He recently had a discussion with his students about various topics that include September 11th, World War II, and false flag terror attacks. What makes Mr. Glicker’s approach a bit different from anything his students have ever heard before is that he doesn’t exactly subscribe to the “official” stories surrounding these historical events.
Rather than following textbook curriculum, Glicker chose to share some alternative ideas. One of his students happened to capture it all on video and share it on the Internet. Now, parents and mainstream media outlets are up in arms, because according to them, his theories are a bit “bizarre.”

Substitute teacher taped spouting BIZARRE conspiracy theories in high school physics class

A student at a public, taxpayer-funded high school in Michigan has clandestinely filmed a substitute teacher preaching crazy conspiracy theories in front of a high school physics class last month.

Note that The Daily Caller takes special care to let you know that this is a “public” and “taxpayer” funded institution. We’re not exactly sure why that’s important, but apparently if taxpayers are paying for it, then there can be no open discourse or theoretical discussions about any topic except for what the government and teachers’ unions authorize.

The “crazy conspiracy” theories that can be heard on the video include suggestions that 9-11 may have involved members of Pakistani intelligence services who were funded by the CIA and brainwashing of the terrorists involved.
Glicker also went so far as to suggest that President Roosevelt and members of the military had foreknowledge of an impending Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, something that has actually been verified by countless independent sources and recently made into a documentary by the BBC.
He also mentioned that governments are often complicit in attacks that are seemingly executed by the enemy, though are often funded or organized by the very people who then point fingers at others. It’s another “conspiracy theory” validated by decades of facts including the Reichstag fire that gave the Nazis a leg up in Germany and the completely staged Gulf of Tonkin incident cited as the start of the Vietnam war.
Other topics discussed include the crazy notion that the United States sold guns to Mexican drug cartels in something called Operation Fast and Furious, as well as the Iran/Contra affair in which agents of the U.S. government facilitated the sale of weapons to Iran.

The student who recorded the video was later quoted as saying, “it is inappropriate for him [Glicker] to indoctrinate students without facts or logical discussion, especially in a physics class.” It is, however, apparently appropriate for this Mensa candidate to have his cell phone on and recording during physics class. We’re sure this particular social networking butterfly would prefer to spend his time working advanced theoretical equations that he can then post on his Facebook page or YouTube channel for all the world to see.
Of course, the “facts” in all of the aforementioned events are not only disputed, but logical discussions about them are widely available all over the Internet, something this particular student could have easily accessed on the very cell phone with which he recorded the lecture.
“I like it when kids are engaged and they’re actually interested if I have something to say, they seem like they want to hear it. I will definitely tell them,” said Glicker when asked about his non-traditional  method of teaching.
The real indoctrination, at least for the student who caught this on video, has been successfully fulfilled and he can now join the ranks of his fellow police statists currently being educated throughout America.
It’s shameful, but unfortunately a sign of our times, that anyone who questions the status quo and the official story is subjected to public ridicule by the very people who are supposed to investigate and keep our government in check.
Had anyone in the mainstream media, or the student who made the video, taken just a single hour to open their minds to other possibilities they would have learned that most of Glicker’s theories have, if nothing else, at least some semblance of fact and credibility.
Of course, this is the new America, where free thought and open discussion are relics of a bygone era.
